Outdoor carnival kicks off 2022/2023 season!
On October 2nd, 2022, Clovercrest Swimming Club held their annual long course carnival. This year saw us in a different venue due to the Payneham pool closure. We are pleased to report the carnival was a resounding success! The weather was perfect, and apart from a few ducks trying to get a few official times under their belt, the pool was perfect. Many thanks to all the visiting clubs for your support. We hope you enjoyed the day.
Clovercrest had 45 swimmers competing on the day. We had a very early start, being the first day of daylight savings. This did not deter our swimmers though, with many medals, PBs, and state times achieved. Congrats. Special mentions must go to some of our newer swimmers, competing for the first time. Well done to Sienna, Shaun, Austin, Sarah, Majd, and Zain! It was great to have you join us.
Thanks to Chris, Selma, and Alex, our officials for the day. Thanks also to Jill and John for their coaching expertise on the day. And last but not least, thank you to all the parents who worked tirelessly on the day, many families all pitching in, including siblings, working both sessions, to make our carnival a huge success. We look forward to 2023!
